- Jamboree on the air / Jamboree on the internet
Hello and welcome to our JOTA/JOTI page
whether you are a member of our scout group or any scout group in the
world thank you for visiting.
Every
year we take part in Jamboree on the air and internet contacting over
scouts all over the world and this year is no exception. There will be a
JOTA/JOTI station at the Scout H.Q. ‘open’.
We are located south of London in Epsom, Surrey, UK. Our call sign is
GB2ESG. You can also speak with us on the internet.
We hope to be on all bands from 2m - 160m.
 All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers
and Network Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Leaders and parents are
invited to come along any time during these hours and visit the station(s).
There will be opportunities to talk to other Scouts and Guides all over
the world on the radio, send messages via the internet, design this years
QSL card (come along and ask what it is), be tested for the Cub, Brownie
or Scout communicators badge and many other exciting activities.
Please wear uniform
bring a change of clothes if you are staying for a long time. |
