PL/APL Camp |
|
Day two involved n extremely tricky assault course that was done with blindfolds, buckets of water and a very painful rope swing. After some very cheesy pictures were taken we moved onto some team building exercises. Moving on benches, ropes etc but hardest of all, building a bridge over a bog with spare wood. We all got across but Stephanie fell in (and stunk the tent out!). Then a game of rounders, (girls v boys). We then made catapults (or flatapults in one teams case) to fire water balloons. Surprisingly they didn’t work and so we resorted to a good cold water fight. Finally a camp fire ended the day. Our last full day started with a bang as we made camp ovens and cooked our very own burnt Yorkshire puddings (ours caught fire). Ten we made some wooden platforms to hold a barrel up. It was difficult but we managed! Then off to the pub down the road to have dinner. Sunday morning was full of tidying up and packing up our stuff. (which had got everywhere!) then the train ride home. It was really fun and we all want to do it again next year. Katie Barry |
