Yet another very successful and safe display watched by well over 10,000
people and contributing over £10,000 to our funds, most of which will go
towards our new Scout HQ.
As well as benefiting our funds, Riding for the Disabled, The Children’s
Trust, the Girls Brigade and many other Scout Groups also benefited. Thanks
are due to well over 100 people who play a part in the biggest event that
the group run.
Adrenaline in the firing team is always running fast during the display but
the failure of electronic firing of the finale and a switch to manual firing
made all the difference. Over 2 kilo of pure adrenaline was deposited in the
firing area during the last 5 minutes of the display. If anyone would like
