On Saturday 18th November, 4 Cubs, 8 Scouts and 4 Explorers from 7th Epsom
took part in the annual District Swimming Gala. It was a fun evening and we
got some good results! The Cub team of Christian van der Pant, Nathan
Jolaoso, Kieren Hodson Kilroy and Christopher Dendy won the Cub trophy
coming first in every race! The Scout team of Natalie Lawton, Michael
Browning, Ben Bradbury, Christopher Etherington, Oliver Garrod, Andy
Browning, Ollie Raggett and Natalie Lawton managed to take the Scout 1st
place trophy home and the Explorer team of Vicki Smith, Rebecca Willcox,
Peter Edmonston and Phil Barden came 2nd in the Explorer competition. With
these excellent results 7th Epsom managed to win the overall Swimming gala.
So well done to all of the swimmers. As well as swimming, Vicki was also
team manager so got the team ready before the event and made sure that
everybody was in the right place on the night! So a massive well done and
thank you to Vicki.
