Advertised as a Centenary camp and part of the 100 years of Scouting celebration. Fun and lots of activities were promised and nobody was disappointed.
Kiddi Karts, Climbing Wall, Canoeing and Rafting, Swimming (at the lido, not in the rain), Push ball, Shooting, Cooking, Camp fires, Amateur radio station, flooded tents, Explorer tent blown away, minibuses shuttling scouts and cubs continuously, broken finger, wet tents, catering for nearly 200 people, no more dry clothes!
What a memorable weekend camp!
Thanks must go to all the leaders and adults who helped in any way to make this such a success.
