Group Scout Leader's Report

Coming activities:

A BIG camp over the Spring Bank
Holiday for Beavers (day visit), Cubs, Scouts and Explorers was going to be with 6 Districts but there was a mix up and we have managed to get a camp site to ourselves in Wisley and are planning to run a similar programme. We have 26 Beavers, 47 Cubs, 71 Scouts and 7 Explorers already signed up. We also have 60 adults that have volunteered to help. This should be one of the best events of the year. The application form is on our web site and the closing date has past but as we are now organising it we can take late entries!

The Group Family Camp is in June at Boidier Hurst camp site and details are now out and can be seen on the Web.

Our Scout summer camp is planning to have a day visit to the World Jamboree. The return date has passed but we can still accept a few late entries.

The World Jamboree organisers are still looking for more people with skills in kayaking, bellboating, raft building, pulling, abseiling, high ropes, mountain biking, safety boat driving to name just a few… can you help from 29th July to 6th August?

A great Scout Summer Camp is being planned in Essex with our Swedish friends and we are hoping to spend a day at the World Jamboree. The closing date has passed but we can possibly take more. Please fill in the application form from our web site and return it to Glynn ASAP.

Make sure that you are part of the fun, watch out for more details and keep an eye on our web site!!
