Two years ago our subscriptions secretary left. Since then we have continued to send subscription letters and reminders out to members but, unfortunately, a glitch in the process meant that we missed some members. We have recently completely reviewed and updated the process and everyone who is in arrears has now received a reminder for payment.
Our subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March and payment is due in advance. We will be sending out requests for payment of the 2007/8 subscriptions towards the end of March.
If you
would like to pay in instalments or would like time to pay, please contact
our subscriptions secretary Marion Johnston, or Ann Dallen, so that we do
not send out unnecessary reminders.
Subscriptions cover the costs incurred in running the weekly meetings and
have been set at £81 for Beavers and Cubs and £108 for Scouts and Explorers.
This is roughly broken down into –

Accounts are audited and available at the Group AGM and there is an opportunity to ask questions in ‘open forum’.
