Welcome to the Epsom and Ewell Scouts Uganda Network website.  This website has been designed to keep you updated about our trip out to Uganda in August.  Please feel free to look around!

During the 2003 summer holidays a group of 18 Scouts and Leaders from Epsom and Ewell will be flying out to Uganda.  We are going out as part of the UK-Uganda Network scheme, whereby groups from the Scouting network from all over the UK get involved in projects in Uganda.

Our group are staying over there for 3 weeks, and will be involved in various projects with the Ugandan scouts, designed to help improve the living conditions over there. We will be working with Scouts mainly in Tororo and Mayuge in the south-east of Uganda.  To learn more about the projects we will be doing, click here.

While most of the scouts traveling to Uganda are new to the Uganda Network, there are some from our team who have already worked on the scheme.  In 2000, there was an expedition out to Uganda, similar to this one, on which some of our group ventured.  To learn more about the Uganda 2000 trip, click here.

Although we are going out to Uganda to work on projects with the Ugandan Scouts, we will also be doing a few 'extra-curricular' activities, involving a safari amongst other things!  To view our full programme and learn how our journey is laid out, click here.
