Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic 7th Epsom have ensured each Section’s activities have been planned according to Government Guidelines and assessed for the safety of all our young people and adult Leaders/helpers alike.
This policy covers how to respond to a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 in an active 7th Epsom Scout Member, Leader or adult helper.
Other symptoms are also being noted – see the Government Information here.
If a young person or an adult Leader/helper either develops symptoms or is in a bubble with someone who develops symptoms compatible with coronavirus (COVID-19) – however mild – they must not attend 7th Epsom meetings and should avoid contact for 5 days.
Things you should also do are:
- Let fresh air in if meeting others indoors.
- Practise good hygiene:
- wash your hands
- cover your coughs and sneezes
- clean your surroundings frequently
- Wear a face covering or a face mask.
