The Group Executive Committee (‘Exec’ ) supports the Group Lead Volunteer (GLV) and ensures effective administration of the Scout Group. The Exec is responsible for the Group’s facilities and resources that are needed to deliver good Scouting in the Group. That means:
- Maintenance of the Group’s property, vehicles and equipment
- Raising of funds and the administration of the Group’s finances
- The insurance of persons, property and equipment
- Group public relations
- Assisting with the recruitment and training of volunteer Team Members and other adult support.
